In mounting trouble for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following reports of alleged misuse of public funds to the tune of Rs 45 crore for the renovation of his official residence, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has sought a report into the matter.
The development comes in the wake of Public Works Department (PWD) documents that surfaced earlier this week showing that Rs 45 crore was spent on rebuilding and renovating Kejriwal’s Civil Lines residence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
