Senior Congress leader Ajay Maken on Sunday alleged that the actual amount of money spent on the renovation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence was ₹171 crore and not ₹45 crore as the BJP was claiming.

New Delhi: In connection with alleged violations of rules in the renovation of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, seven PWD officials have been issued showcause notices by the Directorate of Vigilance on Monday.

In mounting trouble for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following reports of alleged misuse of public funds to the tune of Rs 45 crore for the renovation of his official residence, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has sought a report into the matter.
